December 7th Fatal Crash on Painters Mill Road

On December 7, 2017, just before 5:30pm, units from OMVFCo and surrounding stations were alerted for a serious car crash at the intersections off Painters Mill Road at Grand Central Avenue. Truck 313, Engine 312, and Ambulance 315 responded.  

After an investigation, Baltimore County Police released the following information:

"... police responded to the location after a 2003 Ford Taurus struck a concrete median while traveling southbound on Painters Mill Road. After hitting the median, the Ford continued into a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am which was traveling on Grand Central Avenue. The driver of the Grand Am was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. He has been identified as Charles Layne Taylor, 54, of the unit-block of Byers Court, 21133. Crash investigators are continuing their inquiry into the crash at this time."
