Annual Firemen's Carnival Coming to an End
The members and officers of the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company are sad to announce that our Annual Firemen's Carnival will be coming to an end. There will be no carnival in 2016, and for the foreseeable future. The event was one of our largest fundraisers of the year, bringing in an average of $40,000.
In an effort to make up these funds, members of OMVFCo will be holding "Fill The Boots" every night from June 14-25.
We are also accepting donations online, by clicking below:
Over the years, the carnival was held at our old fire station on Reisterstown Road (on the side of the current Buffalo Wild Wings and Garrison Forest Shopping Center) and at the Owings Mills Metro Station. For a brief time, the carnival was held at the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Company before it was moved to the Owings Mills Mall.
With pending plans to demolish the mall, we were not able to secure the location for the carnival, which was normally held in June.
