Apartment Fire on December 16, 2014

On Tuesday morning (12/16) at 11:34am, Truck 313 and Engine 312 were alerted for Fire Box 31-4 on Pleasant Ridge Dr.  Engine and Truck arrived with heavy fire venting from a terrace level apartment on charlie side (rear).  Truck 313 immediately began throwing ladders, extending to the second floor beginning a search of the fire apartment.  Engine 312 stretched a line and began to knock bulk of fire from rear as crews from Engine 56 attacked from the front.  Crews were able to make a quick knock on the fire with minimal damage to the adjacent apartments.  Crews remained for approximately 2 hours mopping up the scene before returning to service.  Good Job by all on scene.
