Minutes before 11 am Owings Mills units along with surrounding companies were alerted for a Dwelling Fire in the 31-11 Box Area. Units arrived minutes later on Byway Road to find a 1 story single family dwelling. Once crews made entry into the home they were encountered with heavy smoke conditions. Engine 312′s crew found the bulk of the fire in the basement. Once extinguished, Truck 313′s crew ventilated the structure.  Crews were ready for service within the hour.

On December 28th just after midnight, Engine 312 and Truck 313 were struck for a house fire in Glyndon Box 40-1. Engine 312 and Truck 313 both staffed with 5 personnel responded. Units from Reisterstown Vol. Fire Co. 41 arrived first and found the fire to be in the basement of a 1 story dwelling. The fire originated on the exterior of the structure and worked its way into the basement. Companies ventilated structure and were clear within the hour.

While returning from a fire alarm, Engine 312 was alerted for a 10-50 PI at Reisterstown Road  and Gwynnbrook Avenue. Engine 312 arrived to find a two vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer and a compact car. The crew from 312 provided patient care until medics arrived on scene  and then assisted medics in the removal of the patient from the vehicle.

Halloween morning proved to be eventful for the Volunteers. Station 31 units were alerted for a shooting on Buxton Circle. Engine 311 with 5 personnel along with Medic 315 with 3 personnel responded and arrived to find a male shot multiple times. Trooper 1 was requested due to the priority of the patient. Engine 312 with 4 personnel established a landing site. Patient was flown to Shock Trauma.
