On December 28th just after midnight, Engine 312 and Truck 313 were struck for a house fire in Glyndon Box 40-1. Engine 312 and Truck 313 both staffed with 5 personnel responded. Units from Reisterstown Vol. Fire Co. 41 arrived first and found the fire to be in the basement of a 1 story dwelling. The fire originated on the exterior of the structure and worked its way into the basement. Companies ventilated structure and were clear within the hour.

Many of the members were with their family and friends on Christmas Day and generally things were very quiet. The station was hit for 3 fireboxes throughout the day and members came down to man station 31. Only the last one (at 9p) Fire box 18-10 turned out to be a working fire which the Truck and Engine responded. So, all-in-all it was a safe day around Owings Mills.

While returning from a fire alarm, Engine 312 was alerted for a 10-50 PI at Reisterstown Road  and Gwynnbrook Avenue. Engine 312 arrived to find a two vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer and a compact car. The crew from 312 provided patient care until medics arrived on scene  and then assisted medics in the removal of the patient from the vehicle.

Today we had the first snow fall of the year which resulted in the roads being extremely slippery. This resulted in a large number of accidents and one of our busiest days of the year. We had a total of 16 suppression calls throughout the day and evening, most being 10-50 PIs, but included some fire boxes and medical assists.
