National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD
Several OMVFCo members traveled to the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD from 18-20 January for the 2008 “Maryland Weekend”. Jeremy Scheinker, 1st Vice President; Eddie Schwartz, Jr, 2nd Fire Lieutenant; and firefighters Randy Brown and Mike Fold (not pictured) attended classes and social events with other fire service members from all over the state. The weekend started with a service dedicated to the 115 members of the fire service who lost their lives last year, as well as a special remembrance for Baltimore County career and volunteer firefighter Jarrett Dixon.
